An elegantly designed, modern arena on the campus of the University of California, Irvine, the Bren Events Center provides an exciting and prestigious location in Orange County for a full array of musical, performance, exhibition, sporting, and other public events.

The flexible design of the Bren Events Center can accommodate a wide range of events including: concerts, lectures, large meetings, banquets, and exhibitions...the only limit is your imagination.

The Center is built on two levels and features state-of-the-art design in lighting, sound system, and acoustic engineering. Nearby parking facilities provide convenient parking for Events Center guests. A full service ticket office and two permanent concession stands are located on the concourse level. Three main entrances to the Center provide smooth crowd flow, and another entrance on the arena level can be reserved for security or controlled access needs.

Through the use of retractable seating and Safeguard protective floor covering, the Center can be easily converted to stage a variety of events including concerts, lectures, performing arts, and sporting events.

The Bren Events Center is located on the campus of the University of California, Irvine, in the Southern California coastal foothills immediately adjacent to Newport Beach and in the heart of Orange County, the destination of more than 35 million visitors each year. The 1,500-acre campus is beautifully landscaped with more than 11,000 trees and is cooled by ocean breezes. In the winter there are panoramic views of the snowcapped San Bernardino Mountains, while spring and summer bring the attractions of nearby sailing, swimming, and fishing. UC Irvine is surrounded by a rapidly growing business and residential community that provides an ever-expanding list of career and cultural opportunities. The campus is adjacent to the communities of Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Tustin, and Santa Ana. Within each of these cities there is a wide variety of hotels and motels with accommodations ranging from deluxe to economy.

The Bren Events Center is fully capable of accommodating patrons with any disability. Wheelchair accessible areas are at both the top and floor levels of the arena, with elevators providing patron access to the lower level. Arrangements can be made for those patrons who need special consideration due to visual or audial impairments. Please contact the box office to make such arrangements.

No food or drink is allowed in the facility for most events. We have a fully staffed concessions stand open for your refreshment needs; please call ahead of time and check on availability of refreshments. Items not allowed inside during most concerts: cameras, camera-phones, video equipment, weapons, and metal-studded clothing. At some events, discreet photography without the use of a flash may be allowed; please call ahead and check to see if it will be permissible during your event.
